Is this a one-off charge?

Yes it is! No matter how many images you have, we’ll optimise all your images in your media library and even those images contained inside your theme’s sub-folders. Once all your images are optimised and converted to WebP image format, we’ll set you up with your own Imagify Starter account going forward – this free account includes 20MB per month (approximately 200 images).

What if I have hundreds or even thousands of images?

That’s no problem, leave it to us! We’ll optimise all images in your media library (even images inside your theme’s sub-folders) and convert them all to the Next-Gen WebP image format. Once our Imagify Setup Service is complete, we’ll hook you up with your own Imagify Starter account which includes 20MB per month (approximately 200 images).

Will I get my own Imagify account after setup?

Yes. However to begin with, we will cover all Imagify charges and bulk optimise your entire media library to avoid any additional cost. Going forward, we’ll set you up with your own Imagify Starter account – this free account includes 20MB per month (approximately 200 images).

Can't I just go direct to Imagify?

Yes you can signup for your own ongoing Growth or Infinite monthly plan with Imagify. The Imagify Setup Service is for those clients who want a hands-off solution where WPhost will take care of everything for a one-off charge, including:

  • Backing up your original images
  • Configuring your optimisation level settings
  • Setting up “Auto-Optimize images on upload”
  • Creating WebP versions of images and displaying these on your site

Can I restore images after compression?

Yes, as part of our WordPress Imagify Setup Service, we backup your original images and keep these in a separate folder before the optimisation process.

If I use Imagify, do I need to continue optimising and resizing my images with Photoshop?

No. You will no longer have to waste your time resizing and optimising your images in Photoshop – Imagify takes care of everything!

I used Kraken, Optimus, EWWW or WP Smush, will Imagify further optimise my images?
